KimBeverly Lumbres Caimen (born June 20, 1994[1]) popularly referred to as Beverly is a Filipino pop artist based in Japan under the Avex Trax label. Her name is widely known for her many soundtrack appearances such as "Be the one" which was featured in Kamen Rider Build, and "Koko" (Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle). Beverly Caimen was born on June 20, 1994 in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines as the third of the children of Ramon Vega Caimen and Leticia Valdez Lumbres. She had two brothers as well as two sisters. Beverly started singing at the age of five when her mother took her to school, and she discovered she had a talent for it. When she was seven she joined the school's chorus and began singing lessons at age nine when her mother was able to. At this point, she was able to enter her first competition in singing. The competition didn't go her way. But, her mom advised her to keep going since she needed to get more knowledge. Batangas State University awarded her an undergraduate degree. in Psychology. Beverly began to pursue her dreams by joining various amateur singing contests. She won first prize at the World Championships of Performing Arts. She recorded songs under GMA Records with composer Vehnee. Beverly Caimen was her debut and final album under GMA. Beverly was nominated in the Best Performance at the Awit Awards and received the Harvest of Honors award of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. She was also awarded the A Song of Praise Music Festival year award for Best Performance.
