Harry

Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician from England. He was part of One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1 1994. He is the child of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive, and with his three classmates, formed a music group called White Eskimo. They took home the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding performance. While he's always interested in the arts, he hoping to be an lawyer or physical therapist. He was employed in the local bakery for a few hours in order to provide for his family. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition in which he performed Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. Because of this, his band needed to be split. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be a part of a future band that would be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. During the competition the band performed songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls to win the contest. However, they finished third, behind Rebecca Ferguson. However, Harry Styles and his group did not win Cowell paid a contract of 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with Syco Records.
