Kelly Clarkson is an American musician and singer who has become the nation's favorite after winning the American Idol title in the initial season of the show. She was not only launched into stardom by her win and announcing a record deal for multiple albums through RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records. From her first appearance, she released numerous albums. From those, three reached number one on the US Billboard 200. The other albums came near the top. She is one of the biggest artists that have sprung from the American Idol series. To be successful she experimented with different music styles and experimented on topics. With her distinct voice and unique ability, she was awarded critical acclaim as well as numerous prizes. One of her most memorable achievements is that she won 3 Grammy awards. Aside from her career in music, she's also appeared on television and film. She also co-wrote the children's storybook River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved with a number of charities.
